Transit Privacy Policy

Transit keeps your work on your Mac.
This policy covers the Transit macOS app, including App Store and TestFlight installations. It explains what stays on your device, the services Transit connects to, and information you choose to send us.
On your Mac
Your virtual machines and their disks, and the images Transit downloads, stay on your Mac, in the locations shown under Storage. So do Transit’s settings. Passwords for your virtual machines’ accounts are kept in your Mac’s Keychain.
Virtual machines run locally. Transit does not upload their disks, files, screen contents, or activity to Yooz Labs.
Operating system downloads
Transit downloads operating system images and a signed list of them from Hugging Face (huggingface.co and its hf.co download servers). It checks each download against that list before using it.
Like any download, these requests show Hugging Face your network address, the file requested, and the app and system version. Hugging Face handles this request data under its privacy policy.
Apple purchases and services
Apple handles subscriptions, payments, trial eligibility, and renewal. Transit reads verified App Store transactions to check access. Yooz Labs does not receive your payment card details.
Choosing Manage Subscription or Terms of Use opens Apple’s websites in your browser. The App Store and TestFlight operate under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy.
Programs inside virtual machines
Guest operating systems, apps, and websites follow their own privacy policies. They can reach the internet through your Mac, as they would on any computer. You can turn a virtual machine’s network off in its settings.
No app accounts or tracking
Transit has no Yooz account, advertising, tracking, or analytics. Apart from the connections described above, the app sends nothing about you or your virtual machines to anyone. Yooz Labs does not sell personal information from Transit.
Support and information you choose to send
If you email feedback@yooz.live, Yooz Labs receives your email address and the information you choose to include, such as a description of a problem or diagnostics you attach. We use this information to respond to your request and resolve support issues. Transit does not send diagnostics automatically.
Support messages are retained for handling your request and related follow-up. You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information you have sent.
Keeping and deleting local data
Your local virtual machines, downloaded images, and settings remain on your Mac until you remove them. You can delete virtual machines through Transit’s library and downloaded images through Storage settings. Subscription expiry does not delete your files. Cancel or manage your Apple subscription through your Apple Account.
This policy page
This web page is served by Cloudflare, which receives ordinary web request information such as your network address and browser details when you visit. Website delivery is separate from the Transit app’s local processing.
